Isolation of Mycoplasma gallisepticum from Fresh Eggs and Blood

Abstract
Mycoplasma gallisepticum was isolated from the vitelline membrane of 116 (81.7%) of 142 fresh eggs of 11 (78.5%) of 14 chickens and turkeys 4 to 126 days after intravenous inoculation with this organism. M. gallisepticum was also isolated from the blood of 10 (76.9%) of 13 of the birds 7 days after inoculation.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
