Abstract
We have measured the magnetoresistance of dilute Cu–Mn and Cu–Fe alloys with impurity concentrations ranging from 0.14–0.12 at.% Mn and 0.04–0.40 at.% Fe, respectively, in the temperature range 1.3°–88°K and in magnetic fields up to 200 kOe. In Cu–Fe it is found that an appreciable part of the magnetoresistance is due to the field dependence of the scattering amplitudes. In the case of Cu–Mn, the magnetoresistance does not exhibit the expected saturation in high fields. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
