Abstract
A case of hemolytic-uremic syndrome preceded by laparotomy for suspected intestinal intussusception is reported. The pathologic lesions in the colon are described; they are attributable to microangiopathic thrombosis. Their significance in the hemolytic uremic syndrome is discussed. Keywords
