Abstract
A high resolution survey of the Cygnus X region was made at 408 Mc/s using the 250 ft paraboloid at Jodrell Bank. The results were combined with the high resolution surveys at 1390 Mc/s of Drake and Westerhout to investigate the spectral characteristics of the individual radio sources in Cygnus X. The results support the previous conclusions that the emission is from optically thin H II regions except for the strongest source in the region, the γ Cygni source, which was found to have a non-thermal component. Keywords
