Abstract
In the development of the design of a space experiment a device has been built and tested which allows the blanking of a Channeltron detector after a given number of pulses have been counted. With this device the average counting rate can be controlled without limiting the instantaneous counting rate. The tests performed indicate that a satisfactory blanking factor is achieved and that the fatigue effect depends on the average frequency, with no appreciable effect of the instantaneous frequency in the bursts. Keywords
