Abstract
Here we report on a -based material, namely one ordered monolayer of on Ag(100). In this system, the molecules are close to the ionic state and the distance is comparable to that of The photoemission spectra of the LUMO-derived band clearly indicate a metallic character at room temperature, while below we observe a considerable reduction of density of states at the Fermi level. The electron-phonon coupling and the physical reasons for the observed behavior are addressed.
