Abstract
Study of specimens of M. clarki from gray squirrels, fox squirrels, and flying squirrels at Welaka, Fla., supports the view that this is a valid sp., distinguished from M. dubius of rats by the smaller sizes of the proboscis, proboscis sac, and eggs, although the body size may be as great or greater. An additional point of difference is the longer and more slender lemnisci. M. spirodentatis McLeod is believed to be a synonym of M. clarki.
