The Rockefellers and sex research

Abstract
The Rockefeller Foundation, in one form or another, was the major supporter of sex research in this country for over 40 years, from before the beginning of World War I to after the end of World War II. The kind of research the foundation supported, decisions made about the possible publication of a journal devoted to sex research, and ultimately the support of Kinsey, have deeply influenced subsequent developments in sex research in this country
