Abstract
The kinetics of acceptor competition for the f3.g1ucosidase of Stachybotrys atra are compatible with the "reciprocal complex formation" version of the ternary-complex hypothesis but not with the binary· complex hypothesis nor simpler versions of the ternary-complex hypot,hesis.
