Abstract
The zero-crossing first-derivative technique has been applied to both normal and synchronous spectrofluorimetry and has allowed the resolution of a binary mixture of the alkaloids cinchonine and quinidine. The calibration graphs were linear in the concentration range 0.14–0.73 µmol l–1 of quinidine and 2.9–7.3 µmol l–1 of cinchonine. Keywords
