Relapsing Polychondritis

Abstract
TWO cases of an allegedly rare disease have been seen by us within the past several months. In each an intense inflammatory and degenerative process developed in several cartilaginous structures that were eventually dissolved and replaced by fibrous connective tissue. Because of its episodic nature we have called this syndrome relapsing polychondritis.
