Abstract
An Fe-complexing antibiotic with a narrow spectrum of biological activity was produced by several strains of A. nidulans when grown in a low-Fe, chemically defined medium. Its chemical and biological properties closely resembled those of deferritriacetylfusigen, a metabolite of several other aspergilli and penicillia. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
