Abstract
Twenty-three young rhesus monkeys were trained on 576 three-trial object-quality discrimination problems. Intercorrelations between successive blocks of 96 training problems were determined. In addition, split-half correlations within blocks of problems were computed. Information concerning the reliability and inter-correlations between successive blocks of problems may be used to determine when a group of animals should be assigned to subgroups for the application of an independent variable. Appropriate application of these data will tend to increase the sensitivity of this discrimination task as a behavioral measure. Keywords
