Abstract
A highly significant relationship was established between milk iodine content for bulk milk of the herd and the calculated daily iodine intake of cows in the herd. It is suggested that where bulk milk iodine content is less than 25 μg/litre the probability exists that what are at present suggested as the iodine requirements for dairy herds with average yields are not being met. Keywords
