Abstract
A simple technique for lash excision in the surgical management of trichiasis was described. Of 13 patients treated with this technique, 11 had complete relief of symptoms and 2 had significant improvement in symptoms with the remaining symptoms attributable to other manifestations of their underlying disease. There were no complications in any of the cases from the surgical procedure itself. This procedure was quickly and easily performed and was particularly useful in elderly and debilitated patients, and in those patients whose trichiasis was associated with conjunctival scarring. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
