Abstract
Present methods of studying inhibition are described and future fields for investigation are outlined. Comparison is made of the inhibiting and other properties of amines and imines; the imines are more effective as inhibitors than the corresponding amines. Structural theories are advanced in explanation. The electrical double layer and its effect on inhibition are discussed. 5.8.4, 5.8.3, 2.3.5
