Abstract
Previous workers have interpreted multi-valent configurations present at meiosis in interracial and interspecific hybrids of Triturus as due to translocation heterozygosity. Based on observations of meiosis in several species of grasshoppers, these Triturus hybrid individuals could be homozygous for several or many reduplicated chromosome ends, in the tetrasomic, hexasomic, octa-somic.....condition.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
