Laparoscopic ureterolithotomy for impacted lower ureteral calculi: Initial case report

Abstract
A laparoscopic ureterolithotomy was performed in a 63-year-old man who presented with azotaemia and large impacted calculi in the lower ureter. Although the procedure was performed transperitoneally, the ureter was completely re-peritonealized and drained extraperitoneally.
