Abstract
Using 200 fs Ti:sapphire laser pulses to ionize and fragment NO molecules, we showed through the measurement of ion yield and the correlation maps of ion fragments that the fragmentation process is principally due to dissociative recombination. This latter process means stretching the molecule which will lead to enhanced ionization at larger internuclear distance. Keywords
