Abstract
Bone marrow transplant recipients require central venous catheterization for a variety of fluids. They are also particularly susceptible to infection. Here we discuss the use of double lumen catheters to reduce the number of invasions necessary. We make particular reference to infection, neutropenia, prophylactic antibiotics, additional catheters, and presence of graft vs host disease. Keywords
