Abstract
A 2‐m undulator magnet and associated beamline have been installed on the electron‐positron storage ring PEP. The undulator is designed to produce photons at 12 keV with high intensity when the storage ring is operated at its nominal energy of 14.5 GeV. We report measurements of the spectral and angular properties of the radiation when PEP is operated in a low‐emittance (ε∼6×10−9 m rad) configuration. The spectral properties are in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Keywords
