Proton scattering onandand the interacting boson approximation

Abstract
Differential cross sections for proton scattering on and have been measured at MeV. The data are analyzed by coupled channels calculations, with coupling amplitudes taken from the interacting boson approximation. Information on transition potentials is obtained. The reliability of the method is discussed.
