Abstract
Contribution of spraying DDT and HCH [1,2,3,4,5,6-hexachlorocyclohexane] for malaria control towards contamination of bovine milk was investigated by analyzing milk samples collected from preselected localities sprayed with DDT or HCH in the Punjab [India]. A direct correlation was found between amounts of residues of these insecticides in milk and their typical usage pattern for mosquito control program. Results may have significant bearing on regulatory control of DDT and HCH residues in milk. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
