Li7diffusion constant in the superionic conductorLi3N measured by NMR

Abstract
The anisotropic diffusion coefficient of Li7 in Li3N has been measured by the pulsed magnetic-field-gradient method of NMR. Activation energy and jump rates obtained for diffusion along the hexagonal c axis are in good agreement with our previous data, thus suggesting that the hopping of Li ions between the inequivalent Li(1) and Li(2) sites dominates the conductivity along the c axis.
