Abstract
With this method, which is claimed to give accurate results, the interfering ions (Ca, Al, Fe and Mn) are removed as insoluble tungstates and the Mg is directly detd. spectrophotometrically in the supernatant liquor after centrifug-ing in a single operation. The most favorable pH range for the precipitation is 5-6.5.
