Abstract
A series of cases is reported, in which femoro‐popliteal occlusive vascular disease has been treated by femoro‐popliteal endarterectomy. This technique is particularly applicable to stenoses and short blocks. It may also be considered as an alternative to “Dacron” bypass graft in cases in which the use of the long saphenous vein as a bypass graft is precluded by its absence, unsatisfactory calibre or anomalous branching.
