Blocking Effect of Serum from Tumor-Bearing Animals on Macrophage Migration Inhibition with Tumor Antigens

Abstract
Summary: Peritoneal cells were obtained from unstimulated mice which had been exposed to tumor antigens (regression of a Moloney virus-induced tumor or removal of a transplanted MCA-induced tumor). The migration of these cells in culture was inhibited specifically by tumor extracts. The inhibition was reversed specifically by serum from mice bearing the corresponding tumor.
