Abstract
Critical distances, R0, are calculated for the resonance transfer of singlet excitation energy between the aromatic amino acids phenylalanine, tyrosine, and tryptophan and between these amino acids and the coenzymes reduced diphosphopyridine nucleotide and oxidized riboflavin. The significance of the mechanism of resonance transfer of excitation energy is briefly discussed. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
