Electron-impact excitation of krypton

Abstract
First-order many-body theory has been used to calculate the differential, integrated, and momentum-transfer cross sections for the electron-impact excitation of the 5s’ [(1/2)]10(1 P1 ), 5s[(3/2)]10(3 P1), 5s’ [(1/2)]00(3 P0), and 5s[(3/2)]20(3 P2) states of krypton for the incident energies of 20, 30, 50, 60, and 100 eV. Electron-photon coincidence parameters for the optically allowed states have been obtained. The results are compared to available experimental results.
