Abstract

Thermodynamic equilibrium constants of extraction of nitric (K= 6·0 ± 0·6) and hydrochloric acid [K=(2·5 ± 0·2)× 10^–3] and uranyl nitrate [K=(1·0 ± 0·1)× 10⁵] and chloride [K=(6·0 ± 06)× 10²] with trioctylphosphine oxide in carbon tetrachloride have been determined.
