Abstract
The absorption spectra of nickel centers in MgCl2–KCl mixtures of various compositions were measured from about 5–28 kK at temperatures up to 1060°C. The observed behavior was qualitatively similar to that previously reported for nickel centers in liquid LiCl–KCl mixtures and, in a general way, fits the same model. Keywords
