Abstract
In an amorphous superconductor diluted with magnetic impurities, the range of indirect exchange interaction can be determined from upper-critical-field and density-of-states measurements. It is found that the range of magnetic interaction in some amorphous -band metals is larger than the free-electron transport mean free path. The present result has important implications on the occurrence of various magnetic phases in amorphous alloys.
