Abstract
A Boltzmann equation treatment of the dependence of thermopower on Fermi energy at low temperature gives a positive peak when the Fermi energy moves into a new sub-band. Numerical estimates suggest that this structure remains observable at temperatures below 10K when level broadening is taken into account provided that kFl>or approximately=3.Keywords
