Abstract
Model reduction of linear discrete systems by matching the discrete Laguerre spectra of the unit step responses of the original and reduced models is first discussed. In order to preserve the stable property of the original model, combined methods which use conventional stable methods to determine the parameters of denominator of the reduced models and use the discrete Laguerre spectrum matching to determine the parameters of the numerator are discussedKeywords
