Abstract
The reduction of tosylhydrazones by catecholborane provides a mild alternative to the Wolff-Kishner and Clemmensen reductions1: the reduction sequence is applicable to a variety of ketones and aldehydes including α,β-unsaturated alkenones2 and alkynones.3Keywords
