Abstract
We present three soluble two-channel models with square-well, -function, and separable potentials, respectively. The structure of the cross sections, the presence of resonances and bound states, and one-channel approximations with generalized optical potentials are discussed in some numerical detail. The qualitative relevance of our results in particle physics is indicated.
