Abstract

Methods of producing two-component dielectric films are discussed, and experimental results are given for homogeneous ZnS-Na₃AlF₆ films. Inhomogeneous ZnS-Na₃AlF₆ films and Ge-SiO films have also been studied theoretically and experimentally with particular consideration of their applications as matching layers in reflection-reducing coatings and interference filters.
