Abstract
90 specimens of a trematode taken from the lung of a single Crotalus a. atrox proved to be a new species belonging to the genus Neorenifer. It has been given the specific name, crotali. It is most closely related to N. septicus, N. serpentis, N. glandularis and N. gran-dispinis. It differs from the first 2 in relative sizes of body structures, in the more anterior position of the genital pore as well as occupying a different host and different position in the host. It is distinct from the latter 2 because of the absence of cuticular spines. Keywords
