Abstract
This paper to understand theextent to which this feeling corresponds to reality . We selected aset of reference RISC based systems to represent RISCtechnology, and identified a set of basic image processing tasks torepresent the image processing domain. We measured theperformance and studied the behaviour of the reference systems inthe execution of the basic image processing tasks by running anumber of experiments based on different program organizations. The results of these experiments ...Keywords
