Abstract
The design of an rf conductivity probe for measurements in transient plasmas is described. Calibration is performed using electrolytic solutions of known conductivity determined from a standard cell in a resistance bridge. The spatial resolution of the probe is determined, and conductivity measurements of a high‐density plasma in a magnetic mirror prior to and following turbulent heating are presented. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
