Abstract
The transverse component of the neutron polarisation, Px', has been measured in the reaction gamma d to pn at energies Egamma =0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 GeV and an angle theta p*=50 degrees , using the analysing power of n-C elastic scattering. The results obtained for the double polarisation observable Ox' are compared with the prediction of partial-wave analysis. Keywords
