Abstract
Data are provided through detailed structured interviews, on what should be done for the prevention, treatment and after-care of people having various diseases or disorders. The considered opinions of a group of clinical experts are presented. The content of good medical care is summarized and presented through a series of indexes and standards. The data were limited to the portion of the study dealing with the role of the physician of primary contact in the care of adults. Tables are provided showing how data can be presented on numbers of diagnostic and treatment visits, places of attendance, time required for visits, types of diagnostic tests, kinds of referral specialists needed, and days of hospitalization. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
