Abstract
A retrospective investigation of the relationship between 2 tests of visual retention, used clinically in the assessment of brain damage on 31 patients, is described. Differences between the tests are discussed. The agreement between the tests is dependent on the cut-off points chosen. The results indicate once again the difficulties inherent in the unitary concept of brain damage. Keywords
