Abstract
The response of males and females of Amblyomma variegatum, A. gemma, A. marmoreum, A. maculatum, Rhipicephalus evertsi evertsi, R, appendiculatus and Hyalomma marginatum rufipes to assembly pheromone(s) extracted from A. hebraeum males was studied. None of these responded to the assembly pheromone(s) of A. hebraeum, Evidence that this pheromone(s) is specific to A. hebraeum was demonstrated by using bioassay tests and a Y-shaped olfactometer. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
