Abstract
Water provocative tests were evaluated in normal and glaucomatous beagles. Schiotz tonometry was performed before water was administered (50 ml/kg) by stomach tube and for the next 90 min. The mean increase in Schiotz tonometric values in normal dogs ranged from 3.1-8.6 mm Hg, and in glaucomatous dogs it ranged from 7.3-19.9 mm Hg. Beagles with glaucoma had progressive, gradually increased responses to water provocative tests. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
