Abstract
This note reports the results obtained when PM2 [phage] DNA is X-irradiated in tris-EDTA or in tris-EDTA 50 mM KI, and analyzed directly on alkaline sucrose gradients or incubated for 16 h in alkali at room temperature before analysis by the same technique. The susceptibility of the X-ray induced alkali-labile damages to partially purified Escherichia coli X-ray endonuclease is also presented. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
