Abstract
A hydrodynamic theory of non-local plasma heating by high-frequency fields in gas discharges, sustained for instance by surface waves, is presented. Radial distributions of electron temperature are obtained for arbitrary radial profiles both of electron density and of electric field intensity.}Keywords
