Abstract
A practical and effective method for the simultaneous screening of soil and chemical waste disposal site samples for volatile and semivolatile organochlorine compounds is described. The method employs a simple extraction and analysis by temperature programmed gas chromatography on high-resolution glass capillary columns with electron capture detection and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry for confimation. The lower detection limit is at least 10 parts per million (10 μg/g) for each individual compound. Recovery and reproductibility date for 10 compounds is included. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
