In-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy ofSe74following theNi60(O16,2p),Ni64(C12,2n) andCu65(B11,2n) reactions

Abstract
The energy levels in Se74 produced in the Ni60(O16,2p), Ni64(C12,2n) and Cu65(B11,2n) reactions were studied. An energy level scheme was deduced from γγ coincidence measurements. Spin and parity assignments based on angular distribution and directional correlation of oriented nuclei measurements were made for most of the levels. Lifetimes of many of the transitions in Se74 were deduced from their Doppler broadened lineshapes via the Doppler shift attenuation method. Three "rotational-like" band structures to high spin were observed and their properties investigated. A positive parity, ΔJ=1, band to (9+) as well as the positive parity, ΔJ=2, yrast band to (14+) were observed. In addition a negative parity, ΔJ=2, band with rotational-like character was seen to (13).
