Abstract
Synthesis and degradation of the brain‐specific S‐100 protein were measured in monolayer cultures of clonal rat glial cells C 6. The cells synthesize a small but definite amount of S‐100 protein in logarithmic growth. The increase in accumulation of S‐100 protein which occurs at the end of logarithmic growth is brought about by changes in synthesis. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
